So hurried now
No time to waste
A mumbled prayer
Sent out in haste
Days past by
Til friend relayed
How happy was
That I had prayed
With joy he shared
In warm embrace
Receiving of

A wonder now

With little prayer
God answered great

God would do
If all our faith
Was really true!
Found within prayer drifting
Of echoes of the soul
The silence of retreat
Returns with great console
Flame of candles whisper
Prayer of two sides sing
Tabernacles’ color
And warming light it brings
Home of only love
In way of souls that bound
Precious gifts eternal
Treasures that were found
Holy souls of knowing
Forever have a place
Deep within the One
And dwell with gift of grace
A gaze upon
The cross to see
The love that is
In front of me
Incredible
This story true
Of God with us
In soul of view
Let focus be
In way ahead
The light that shines
In daily bread
My cross to bear
Or joy to see

A statement of unnoticed
In sleeping bag is found

Of everyone I see

Hostility brewing
