An offering of light
Is blessed unto this earth
A miracle of witness
This new day given birth
A pasture of receiving
Of warming love is known

I want to do this
But don’t follow through

Still I can’t do it
Let my will concede
Our source of love
Oh Lord, You I need
With love overflowing
In binding love true
Loving you here
Is easy to do
There’s a second part
To share with neighbor too

Dwelling in the garden
In scent of flowers bright
Found in holy space
Is Mary of the light
Beauty of surrounding
Still this sacred air
A simple conversation
Is One within our prayer
Love of her outpouring
A gift for everyone
Song of her desire
A knowing of her Son
Resting in sweet comfort
Peace surrounds this place
Humbleness of being
Encountering of grace
In a world that’s swirling
Here, let the quiet seep
A prayer of nourishment
To settle now the deep
That of simple resting
Spirit pray in me
Inner of the dwelling
A letting to just be
Gift of new foundation
Moving into You
Lens of the refocus
Vision birthed anew
Center of perspective
Binding at the core
Blessed affirmation
Love to be outpoured
With the Our Father
He taught us to pray
Give us daily bread
The Greek word to say
Epiousion
Of meaning profound
For its only once
In the Bible is found
Of super substantial
This bread of being
In deeper of Spirit
Truth of the seeing
One of His body
To nourish our soul
A blessing divine
Completing us whole
Air of the Spirit
So fresh and so clean
A longing of the deep
Of insight to glean
Breath of the Spirit
O moving within
Permeate all
Transformation begin
Tongue of the Spirit
With gifts here to bless
In sharing of all
My faith to profess
Fire of Spirit
Quenching desire
A sharing of joy
May my heart inspire
Oh Lord, let me claim
The gift You bless to me
One of a free will
In choosing what to be
I choose to be faithful
Of trust and not fear
I choose to be loving

To be of the moment
Let Your joy surround
Compassionate, humble

All that I receive
