Encounters of Giftings

God, by His grace
Gives us willingly
A gift of life for you
And gift of life for me

Encounters are blessings
When we can see
I have a gift for you
And you, a gift for me

A gift of many forms
Of joy or love provide
Or in their brokenness
One of their wounded side

May my gift in return
The love of Christ to be
Encouragement or blessing
Forgiveness or mercy

With each soul that we meet
Gratefulness to lift
Simply in our being
Our presence is a gift
