It was their hand
That wrote this note
So many years ago
It was their heart
That spoke to me
Their love for me to know
It was their joy
Of grateful heart
In simple things are found
It was their faith
They they did share
In lifes ups and downs
It was their life
That they did give
In sacrificial ways
It is their soul
Thats bound in mine
In each of my days
It is God’s Word
They shared with us
To know that we are blessed
It is Gods hand
That holds us all
In Him let us rest
